Feelin’ Good.. No.. Feelin’ Great

So today was it! I wrote last week about signing on to do TaeKwonDo again, after a 14 year hiatus. I had planned on starting class last week, was all ready, drove up there and found our when I got there that it was a testing night! Sad as I was to not have class, I was not discouraged. I decided to go get some exercise running through the Old Navy across the parking lot. heee heee…

Well, today was the first day of classes following the testing cycle, and I was ready… or at least I thought I was.. lol.

Putting it nicely.. I got my ass kicked. Figuratively, of course. We did contact drills, kicks, punches, spin kicks… I was feeling it. I had to stop to catch my breath a few times. ok more than a few times…. but it was fun. It reminded me of all the fun I had years ago. It also made me realize how much I missed it.

Yeah, I have a lot if catching up to do… and I’m going to love working out again!

    I'm happy you had fun getting your ass kicked. It takes all kinds, doesn't it?! I'm afraid that the only exercise I'm getting these days is your “Old Navy” routine. :)

    I'm currently at my highest weight ever. Bummer. Are you doing the TaeKwonDo to get into shape or just to be able to kick someone else's ass? Just wondering……
