Good Day Sacramento.. Alan "the intern"
I’m a pretty avid Good Day Sacramento watcher.. at least whenever Monkey See and Monkey Do don’t cry until I turn it to Noggin. They have a guy there they lovingly call Alan the “slightly paid” intern. He’s been getting more and more face time on air, and doing a great job at it! They have had him doing all kinds of fun, and sometimes embarrassing spots… He’s worked his tail off over a long time now.. learning from working on Metal Sculptures, riding in electric cars, joining the Splashdogs, and reporting on an attempt to make the World’s Largest Hamburger to trying out for the Stockton Shockwave Dance Team…and now he wants to go from part time to full time at CW31.
They’ve had some really funny ads playing on Good Day both for and against his “campaign” to become a full time employee there. Me, personally… I think he’s a good reporter, a definite people person, and excellent comic relief. I hope they do hire him on full time. In any case, February 6th is going to be “election day” for Alan as well.. so remember to go to the CW31 website and vote YES for Alan!!
