It's been a helluva day!
So.. the girls woke up at a decent hour… i’m still pooped.. they didn’t want to clean up after themselves, color without fighting, eat, or nap.. i guess…
I tried everything to keep some sort of order in the house today.. but nooooo.. fighting ensued over the crayons, markers, laptop, toys, you name it… they fought over it…
after a feeble attempt at lunch, i put them down for a nap around 2, and at 330, Monkey-Do was finally asleep, but Monkey-See was still wide awake, and making so much noise, i was afraid she’d wake up Monkey-Do.. Finally around 415, I heard a moment of silence, then someone whispering… Monkey-See had finally fallen asleep, but Monkey-Do was awake.. I give up.. I told Monkey-Do to go back to sleep, or at least stay quiet so sister could sleep, and went back to my bathroom to finish cleaning the shower, and fold some laundry..
They’re in their cribs right now, i hear yawns, i hear whispering and playing with whatever animal is in their crib right now.. i know i should go get them, but man.. they’re happy right now.. i need to get something done, and figure out wtf i’m going to do for dinner..
i can’t wait for yoga tomorrow…
