I&#039;m starting with ikea&#039;s merete drapes which are a thick heavy cotton with giant silver grommets.  I need the slide-ablitiy and weather barrier.  Then I&#039;ll sew &amp; hang additional layers for color and style.

Yes! you can use a tie back on either sides.. I made two panels for the sliding door, just took a photo of one to show off :)
