Reminiscing… They grow up too fast!
Well, for Daddy’s Valentine’s Day present, the girls and I made him some photo frames so he could take some updated pictures of them to work. We did a quick little impromptu photo shoot here at the house, using their chalk boards as backdrops, and dressed in their nice new Valentine’s shirts. They had so much fun smiling at the camera, and then making funny faces… they were sad when I told them the camera battery died. Monkey Do promptly tells me.. “Mommy! Go Charge it!” … “Yes Dear”… You don’t think they’re camera shy do you? LOL.
Anyway. I had purchased some sheets of the craft foam, and a couple packs of foam heart stickers. I figured they could decorate the frames as they wanted and I’d print out the photos on my photo printer.. Yes.. the one that hardly gets used. I love this thing.. I really do.. I’ve just been out of ink for so long, and it’s just been cheaper easier to send them to Costco to print…. We ended up decorating 6 frames, and they had so much fun! They were just beaming when they gave them to Daddy.
To think.. I remember when they couldn’t pose, didn’t understand smile, and basically had to be propped up with various pillows, blankets and boppies.. It really doesn’t seem like it’s been nearly 3 years since their very first photo shoot… I’m scared to think how much they’re going to grow in another 3 years..

Sounds like a great gift for Daddy! I remember taking pictures of me and my baby together with homemade I love you signs. That baby is 10 now! Yikes! It does go by fast.
